The Weekend

There is often seen to be a great deal of secrecy about the Tres Dias Weekend. This can be enough to put some people off, but the content of the weekend is not described in detail for two very good reasons:

1. There are some aspects of the weekend where the lack of surprise would devalue that part of the event and
2. All weekends are different, so to describe one weekend in detail could cause disappointment if the same didn't happen on another occasion.

All weekends are built around a basic core with a team of people led by the "Lay Rector", all of whom will have experienced their own Tres Dias (or equivalent) weekend. The basis of each weekend must conform to an internationally defined set of "essentials" and the team are free to add their own personal touches to this basic structure.

Tres Dias does publish some pre-weekend information that has been written to give you an idea of what to expect without risking spoiling the surprise.
